Trista Hurst joined Hurley Real Estate & Auctions in 2023 with a diverse professional background including advertising, education, marketing, and communications experience. She was raised in the Chambersburg area, earned her degree at Huntington University (Huntington, IN), worked in Indiana for about 11 additional years, and returned to PA in 2023 after four years of ministry work in Mississippi. She is passionate about visual communications, building customer trust through reliable and consistent service, and helping Hurley Real Estate & Auctions raise the bar for real estate and auction experiences in the Mid-Atlantic region. In her free time, she loves on her two kids, husband, and dog. She has a killer pretzel bun recipe and is an accomplished artist and designer.

Jacob is a third-generation apprentice auctioneer. He enjoys real estate including farm and land transactions. Jacob served a two-year service mission for his church in Arkansas and Missouri. Jacob is studying Business Management at Brigham Young University Idaho. Jacob has a strong faith which roots him in his daily actions. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and farming on the side.

As a teenager she worked at a family owned antique shop and tagged along to many auctions. Her love for old things lead her on a life long path to attend museums, quality antique shows and shops. This journey lead to being a part of Hurley Real Estate & Auctions family business in 2000. During her 23 year tenure, she has been a top producer for the Personal Property division specializing in antiques and collectibles. Her attention to detail has brought top sales revenue for the client. In her spare time she enjoys collecting and selling antiques at Antique Crossroads, visiting her daughter in the D.C. area and experiencing international cuisine at area restaurants.

Barb Hurley is the foundation that holds Hurley Real Estate & Auctions together. The knowledge she shares with the staff, as well as her communication skills and years of experience with the public has been invaluable. There is no situation too difficult or too stressful that Barb can’t handle. Barb also coordinates benefit auctions and oversees gun auctions and Federal Firearms licensing. She has also successfully completed the Pennsylvania Real Estate Law & Real Estate Practice courses.

Andy lives in Greencastle, Pa. with his wife Dawn and their lab "Ruger". They are soon to be grandparents and have 2 children, Madison and Garrett. Andy attends many auctions and is an avid collector and a dealer of antiques for over 35 years. He is active in his church doing mission work, helping with the food pantry and children's ministry. Also, Andy is a member of the "Frontier County Gun Club" in Chambersburg, Pa. He recently took up golf and enjoys spending time outdoors with a passion for hunting.

Jacquie joined the Hurley Auction’s team in the of Spring 2016. As a member of the Hurley Auction’s team, her main role is to assist with all office administration, real estate, and personal property. As a lead cloud production assistant she aids in all aspects of the online auction. Jacquie holds a B.A. in Public Relations from George Mason University. She brings with her a rich history in customer service, accounts payable, accounts receivable, certified payroll, HR, contract management, and project management. In her spare time Jacquie enjoys being outdoors with family and friends. She has a passion for animals and can always be found at the local zoo feeding giraffes or dog sitting someone’s puppy.

Denise Myers is the Chief Financial Officer with over 20 years’ experience in real estate sales. Her work history includes new home sales, sales/construction management, real estate brokerage management, commercial and residential energy director, and title company experience. Denise has a knack for problem solving, enjoys finding areas for cost savings and is detail oriented. She is passionate about customer service, helping others and enjoys being a mentor to other staff members. Being part of a cohesive team that utilizes each persons’ strengths is one of the reasons she loves working at Hurley Real Estate & Auctions. Matt & Kaleb’s commitment to honesty, integrity and our clients is unparalleled. This provides the clients with a “Dream Team” that stays abreast of market updates and remains client centric. That dynamic provides clients with the easiest and most successful experience.

Rodney joined the Hurley team in 2018. He was raised working on his grandfather’s dairy farm and helping with the day-to-day operations. Rodney was also a member of the FFA where he held multiple officer's positions and earned his American Farmer award. He enjoys going to different dirt track races with his family and loves hunting and the outdoors.

Chet has been active in the auction industry for nearly 20 years. He is a graduate of Mendenhall School of Auctioneering. He eats, drinks, and sleeps auctions, and his energy and enthusiasm is contagious. He is one of Hurley's online auction team leaders. His expertise lies in primitives, Civil War memorabilia, American History, firearms, heavy equipment, machinery, and farm equipment. When not working on auctions he enjoys spending time on the family farm and visiting Gettysburg, PA. He resides in Bedford County PA with his wife and children.

Gene Hurley has been with Hurley Real Estate & Auctions since the beginning. Gene is an integral part of the business boasting almost 30 years of auction experience and having conducted thousands of auctions. He oversees personal property auction logistics, conducts onsite and benefit auctions, as well as assists in high profile real estate auctions. With a GPPA designation and advanced training in appraisals, Gene is also highly qualified to take on virtually any appraisal need.

Marge has been with Hurley Real Estate & Auctions since 2001. She was acting as CEO for a 3-year term in 2019. She has conducted, coordinated or participated in over 3,000 auctions and real estate sales with experience second to none. She is responsible for a majority of Hurley Real Estate & Auctions' marketing materials receiving both State and National awards. Her experience and background in design programs and auction software has brought Hurley Real Estate & Auctions to the forefront in cutting technology in the Auction Industry. She also leads Hurley Real Estate & Auctions' Florida Division. Her relocation to Fort Myers, Florida and the opening of the Florida Division will ease the transition for clients we conduct auctions for in the US South East and South Central Region.

Mike is the director of operations and manages the daily activities at Hurley Real Estate & Auctions ensuring successful, organized, and efficient results. Mike received his BA in Business Administration from Frostburg State University where his studies focused on human resources and entrepreneurship. His business and service industry experience includes operations, logistics, human resources, and customer service. Mike is active in his church and his faith plays an important part in his life. He served as a missionary in England for 2 years when he graduated from high school. Mike is married to his amazing wife Laura and they have 4 children. Mike enjoys home improvement projects as well as woodworking.

Madison grew up in the real estate and auction industry and has been attending live auctions since she was a baby. She received her real estate license in Idaho, but moved back home to PA to work in the family business. She enjoys helping clients accomplish their real estate goals. Madison served an eighteen-month church mission in Nicaragua and Provo, Utah where she became fluent in Spanish. She graduated from BYU-Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education. While in Idaho she met her amazing husband, Daniel, and they now have two beautiful girls. She loves spending time with her husband and kids as well as running, baking, and watching movies.

Daniel has a deep love for the real estate and auction industry. He received his real estate license in Idaho but moved to PA to further his real estate career with Hurley Real Estate & Auctions. He finds great joy in helping others through big life decisions involving real estate. Daniel grew up in Rigby, Idaho and served a two-year church mission in Modesto, California. He graduated from BYU-Idaho with a degree in Construction Management. He met his wife, Madison, while in school, and they now have two beautiful girls. In his free time, Daniel enjoys spending time with family, hunting, and fishing.

Kaleb is a third-generation auctioneer and realtor. His passion is assisting sellers in real estate transactions and helping them achieve the best possible result for their property. He enjoys and specializes in assisting clients in farm and land transactions. Kaleb served a two-year service mission for his church in Paraguay, he is now fluent in Spanish. Kaleb studied Ag Business and Business Management at Brigham Young University- Idaho. He has received training on Real Estate transactions and Farm and Land sales throughout many U.S states. He has received the Certified Auction Institute and Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate Designations from the National Auction Association making him part of an exclusive group of auction professionals. Kaleb’s most important thing in his life is his faith and family, he has a beautiful wife Kara, son Hal, and daughter Sadie. In his free time Kaleb enjoys raising cattle and goats.
